    Getting traffic to your website

Looking for advice here. Anyone who has an online business, or who's part of an affiliate program? How do you generate traffic to your website?

    Hey There!

A great way to generate traffic is the use of social sites like myspace or direct matches (myspace is my personal favorite). However there is a specific way you'll need to set up your profile to ensure that you'll peak visitors interest and make them want to go visit your site (if you want more info on that just shoot me a email). Another good way to generate traffic is by youtube! Youtube is the best way to get great targeted traffic. The secret is to provide valuable content and utilize the attraction marketing method. If you'd like more info about the ways I listed or want more info just shoot me a email and I'll be happy to help you.

    To your success....

One of the profitable way to generate traffic to your site is to add your website's address to your own profile signature and when you post useful content people will click on your signature in order to see your website.

I always tell my friends to have a series of marketing arsenal. Different website will require different way of marketing. However, the truth is, you need to have more than 1 kind of marketing activity.

    - Social bookmarketing
    - Article marketing
    - Forum marketing
    - Good Adwords

Thee are just a few activities I do to generate traffic to my blogs. Of coz, generate traffic is the easy part...Getting them back is where it get hard.

Write blogs, join related discussion boards. Leave your link and comments every where with your link in it. Bookmark.

Online classifieds and press releases work well. Also might want to try publishing online articles

Commenting on blogs works a treat for me, make sure the blog is related to yours though, and you have something useful to say.

First select an appropriate keywords that best describe your site. And then perform all basic activities like forum postings, social bookmarkings, blog postings, article writings, etc.

If your website is specific to an industry or niche, I would highly recommend becoming active on forums, wikis and answer sites. You would be providing valuable knowledge to others while promoting your own website.

I post photoshopped fakes of my clickbank earnings!

    No, I kid, I kid...

I generally interact with specific communities, and actually do provide useful content that hasn't been posted previously (or if it has, not for a long while).
After a while, I find people start checking my profile and going to my site from there.
