Getting a new computer; what's better for business?

Well I'm looking at Macbook Pro's. I can't decide between getting the 13 inch or the 15 inch size!??

    What is better for business?

..and it doesn't matter about PC programs because I can run those on a Mac via Parallels desktop for Mac.

    THOUGHTS PLEASE

I'd get the 15". I can't stand 13"or smaller screens. They simply aren't large enough to multi-task or do anything more than browse the web.

I used to work for the Apple Store, so maybe I can help.

First of all, I'd strongly recommend going to the Apple Store. They have a business team dedicated to your needs as a business. They can also tell you about Mac apps for business.

For the computer, I would really consider getting a desktop. The 27" Quad-core iMac is the same price as the "better" 15" MBP.
If you need the portability, however, I would go for the $1,999 15" MacBook Pro. The 13" is too small sometimes. With the extra screen real estate on the 15", you can run multiple programs at once side-by-side. That's great for business, as you can have your email and Safari visible at the same time. It's also more powerful for graphics, etc. which comes in handy some time for business. An added benefit of the "better" MacBook Pro is the dual graphics card. The base model has integrated graphics, which means the RAM is used as graphics memory. The $1,999 model has that, as well as dedicated graphics memory. So, you have incredibly powerful capabilities.

But it's all dependent on your needs. If you go to the Apple Store, they can help you get the computer that's perfect for you.

I think 15" 'll be a much better option for you. I suggest you that you should go for 15". Its the normal size.
    I have just found it:

I use a 13" and I love it. I used the extra $550 that i would have spent on the 15" into my business and it seemed like much more sense that a slightly bigger computer! It is totally up to you tho. Windows 7 ultimate is a very good programme also so you should maybe consider it.

I have a 13.3" Macbook and although I wished I had a MBP and maybe a larger screen one, unless you are going to be doing graphic design or anything that necessarily needs the added power, a MacBook should be good enough. I do graphic design, and although the Macbook gets slow at times, I have an older generation one, and it keeps up well. The money you can save can be put to better use. Also, the difference between the 15 and 13 inch models isn't that large. You never really need two windows open on the screen at the same time anyway. The expose button makes switching between windows very easy and very fast.

Basically, I'd just get a 13 inch MB, or max 15 inch MB, and forget about the MBP, unless you absolutely need it. The money you save can be better used for advertising.

    Just my 2 cents

If you are going to give a lot of presentations etc, the 15" will be better as people would be able to see the screen better. Overall 13" is good only if you want a highly portable laptop which you can put in your carry bag easily along with other things.
