    Frustration..... Wanna-be..

Ok, So I have the attitude, and drive of a entrepeneur. Little thing like no capital, family to support, are thing that have kept me down. I started a little buy, sell, trade softball equipment biz. Basically a out of the trunk type of business. Doubled my personal investment quick. Then had family issues come up and couldn't keep putting it back in. I want to start this again but take it a little further. Thing is I don't have capital and I can't take the risk taking care of a family on my own. Sorry I'm new and have been checking out the site. Figure I would post and see what kind of response's or see if anyone else has similiar experiences. Thanks ladies and gents.

    Cole,

No need to get frustrated as it is difficult to start your own business for many reasons. If you were good at selling softball equipment just keep going with that as best you can even if you have a few family concerns to deal with here and there. The key is to work hard and always keep you ears, mind and heart open to your next opportunity. Do not let negativity block you from your dreams. Keep working and remember luck favors the prepared. Best of luck and keep us posted as to how your year goes!

You're in the same boat as millions of entrepreneurs -- day job, family responsibilities, and little time left to develop outside interests. There is no easy fix, unfortunately... but there are choices: a) quit day job to focus 100%, b) talk to SBA about micro-loans, c) loans from angel investors. Option c) may be best though can be tough emotionally when $$ + friends/family is involved.

Stay with it... even if you just operate it ' on the side ' it still may eventually develop into something full-time.

This was an option I was not open to but it's get a part time job and WORK HARD.

Do both. I've cut out a lot of people in my life now. Not because I don't love them or want to be with them but because I see my vision unfolding and if I don't put all of the time and energy necessary into it I will never reap the rewards.

If you've got a good deal, you can always find the money for it. Even if it's out of your car.

Also - I really believe that you've gotta work on yourself and get clear on exactly what you want from a business and from your life.

I hope some of this helps.
