I think that the software program the story refers to is the notorious "4X Made Easy" that was floating around a few years ago. Once, these jerks preempted the evening news on one of my local stations by running one of their stupid infomercials, and the 30 minute news ended up getting about 22 minutes. Apparently these guys took their $500 a year "fee" and spent it on themselves, then failed to deliver what they promised, leaving gullible middle class people in the lurch. Of course, the "seminars" probably cost several thousand dollars a head.
