Well said, I never thought of it that way.

Facebook's trend is on the rise, but the big question is: How can we, as entrepreneurs, make money from this rising trend?

1entrepreneuer, You can do it a few ways.. but at this stage I think one of the best way sis to try and tap into the mass user base to sell your services, you can conduct direct marketing via facebook, which targets potential customers that would be willing to use your services/business.

There are also a number of other advertising groups that operate on facebook that you could also look into, App Chap, Appsense, Cubics.. just to name a few.

I'm currently making money by selling advertising on my applications, not making loads, but making money none the less.

If you want to advertising on any of my apps.. drop me a PM.

Facebook - maybe if you have a popular business

I know some business advertise on Facebook (and politicians use it quite a bit too) but I think that you would need to have a cool niche sort of business. Someone I went to high school with is a DJ and promotes all of his events - its good for things like that. Things like brochure holders that I sell... not so much.

I've started using it, and I like playing around with it to try to network and advertise. I can't add URLs to my posts, because I haven't posted enough yet. If you search Facebook for Blake's Sublime Designs, I'm pretty sure you can find me. Feel free to add me (anyone). My business also has a page. You can find that on my profile, or I can send you the link once you add me. I've tried using the Facebook ads, but I got way too many people just clicking out of curiosity or boredom.

I love using Facebook, aside from add-ons advantage, it can't be easily spammed not like myspace.
