    Expensive college

College these days is expensive as some of you may know. I was thinking of a way for it to be easier to get smart kids with not enough money to get them through college. Wouldn’t be nice if you had an above 90 average through school and that would get you a free ride to college. Maybe not a ivy league college but one of the better public colleges. You would have to maintain this average or you would lose this privilege. I think that would be great for some of these very smart kids that don’t have the money to go through college. I just wanted to put that out there and hear your ideas on that.

Personally they already thought about that and it didn't work. I really care less college is pretty much for broke people who want to get a better J.O.B.

Jshua, they are called needs based scholarships, and thousands of them exist. What you are suggestions is nothing new. If you are talking about specific organizations that specialize in helping communities, these already exist too. In fact I'm an associate board member for Scholarship Chicago, which works with underpriveleged, overachieving high schools students to help them get into college.
