    Ever feel STUCK?

    Hey,
I just want to know if anyone has ever just felt stuck as far as not wanting to work a full time job for the rest of there life but at the same time cannot come up with any ideas to get out of that or cannot even participate in other peoples ideas because you feel like you cannot bring anything useful to the table to further a project or business venture>?

I'm stuck behind the reliance/'comfort' of the paycheck grind of my "day job"...

...not that I can't bring anything to the table - or further a venture, but rather wishing I was younger/less responsibility laden - to take the risk of getting 'unstuck'.

    stop the self loathing

I'll stake all the fuck ups in my life, to what ever you have going, and come on top every time. Trust me, my life is worse than yours - and you don't see me complaing, do you?

lose this identity you have. it's a cancer, and it'll turn malignant if you don't amputate.

    hang with winners.

i at times feel stuck too..but u just have keep going and stay motivated..u will really be stuck once u are too afraid or become complacent..and dont get too comfortable with that "steady" paycheck..it can go away with the blink of an eye and isnt as steady as one thinks.

As an entrpreneur you have your ups and downs, but if you are a true entrepreneur you will NEVER give up, and keep trying until you get the perfect idea or business.

Wow, I think about this every day!!! I have a good job, close to home, make good money, but I don't enjoy my weeks because I am here. I don't need millions, but something that could bring in some money consistently or something that could bring in a million that I could just invest in mutual funds and live off that. I constantly think of business ideas, the problem is I would need to leave my job to really pursue any of them, and none of the ideas has hit me as a sure thing so I stay at work and still think.

For some reason it always chaps my ass when I see these ideas that worked for people (themilliondollarhomepage.com as an example) and I get mad I didn't come up with it myself. Oh well.

I was about to post the same thing, JLB13. I'm stucked too, still living with parents, mid twenties, doing a contract job thats just enough to pay bills, no g/f, no car and I dont know what i want in life. I see people around me are complaining about their job all the time. How do you come up ideas that will change your life ?

I feel like this at times, as well. Just stuck in a rut, feeling like I'll never get out. But the important thing is to keep your chin up, and look for ways out. Yes, it may take years (it has for me), but why give up? If you know you don't want to go get a job like everyone else, you have no choice but to stick it out.

When you say "cannot/can't" it means either you don't want to, or your don't know how.

And if you don't know how, learn.

I heard someone say that the only reason people feel like they're "topped out" and stuck is because they're maxed out at their current level of thinking. Some people stop right there, because the pain of progressing to a higher level is greater than the pain of staying the way they are (in other words, they're thinking, "change sucks! I don't wanna do it!"). Until the scale is tipped so that the pain of staying the same becomes greater, people will continue to wallow in their own apathy and pity.

Of course there will be ups and downs, but as long as you keep going forward until those ups and downs slowly iron themselves out, that is what counts.
