Escrow.com - can it be trusted?

Hi all,

I am about to do a money transaction to a trusted client - I am buying a domain name off him.
I am experiencing troubles with PayPal and we have together tried to figure out what could be wrong, but without any luck unfortunately.

He is suggesting that I can transfer the money by using Escrow - but is it just me, or does it look a bit dodgy?

Can it be trusted?

If you're asking about Escrow.com, it is definitely a legitimate site, the only escrow company ebay endorses.

I'm not familiar with domain selling however, so I don't know how that aspect of your transaction would turn out even if you use escrow.com

I've heard that there are escrow services that specialize in domain sales, you may want to look those up.

escrow would be safer than paypal, because paypal buyer protection does not cover "digital items"
