    Ebay Help! (As a Buyer)

I'm currently looking at an item on ebay as an investment opportunity. The item is a car and it is extremely rare. It has no bids so far and there's less than a day left in the bid.

The seller made it so that each bidder had to be pre-approved. I think this may be why there aren't any bids because no one looked into e-mailing him for permission to bid.

The car is in the mid-west and I'm located in NY. I have school so I can't do a cross-country road trip to get this car. Do you know of any transportation services that will ship/tow the car to my residence? If so, approxamately how much do they cost?

Also, I've lost the name of it, but I believe there's a company that takes the buyer's funds and gives it to the seller once the buyer recieves the item. Do you know of any of these businesses?

    Thank you in advance.

Hey DJ. I believe the seller would be able to help you with shipping. You should ask him before purchasing but there are services out there. I assume it would be somewhere around $500 but I could be off.

I once shipped my car from San Francisco to Los Angeles (approx. 400 miles) and it cost me $400. I think it will cost more than $500 if you're shipping from the mid-west to NY. You can always get a quote from a car transporting company.
