Donations for cancer treatment

Matt is a very good friend of mine.
He was recently diagnosed with Stage IV Melanoma, a very aggressive cancer.
He just got back from one week treatment at Issels, New Mexico.( The Issels Treatment: Comprehensive Immunotherapy for Cancer ) .Matt still needs around 20,000 USD for full treatment and much higher chance of recovery.
I'm looking for ways to raise funds for him.If someone has any experience it will be much appreciated .

Matthew Marrone: August 28, 1973-February 27, 2010

Matt lost his fight with melanoma today, February 27, 2010. He spent his last hours with family and friends before peacefully passing away at 4:00 p.m. He wanted everyone to know how grateful he was for the generosity, care, and support extended by close friends--and even people he had never met--in his battle against melanoma.

Protection in the sun is something none of us should ignore and something the government should take more seriously.
