For all you college goers here, does it ever get into the way of your business?

For example, do you ever get a phone call from a (presumed) important client/potential client in the middle of class? Or you realise there is something urgent to be done in the middle of a college day?

How did you deal with it?

Could I have grown my business faster if not in school, of course! Will it be work it to have a Univ degree... yeah!

Get a cell (or land line) with call display and voicemail. Check them often and call back as soon as possible. Most of the time, if a client needs to wait 1 hr for a reply they will not have a problem.

If the call is really urgent, you can always leave class for a few minutes to call back immediately.

I think one of the major things is to have/develop excellent time management skills. If school is consistently delaying your ability to complete work, clients will not be happy. You may need to cut back a bit on your work load.

Remember, you can always give up sleep.

j/j - Actually one of the most important things you can do is take 1 or 2 days/nights a week for yourself. You will be far more productive w. both work and school.
