Missed this thread last Friday. It really depends.

No answer is wrong. Luck sometimes takes place but of course, everything happens for a reason.

I can't say I have not experienced good or bad luck last Friday the 13th. I'm just glad it's weekend and have two days to rest.

I think that everything that happens is completely random. The only absolute in life is that all others (absolutes) should be disregarded. So I wouldn't say luck exists as a magical phenomenon, but I would venture to say that some people have a tenancy to cheat the numbers. If luck is nothing more than the occurrence of a statistical anomaly which results in a favorable outcome for one or more interested party, then I totally believe in luck!

Otherwise...I look at it like Thomas Jefferson. "I find that the harder i work, the luckier I get."
