Cool do/would you use email marketing?

Do you currently have a little box on your sites/blogs that collects your visitiors email addresses? If not, would you want to add one?

Email marketing is becoming very large in growth, and i wanted to do some research on what the YE members do with it

I thought about it, but it didn't seem to make a lot of sense in my head at the time because I own a commercial cleaning company. I did however sign up for a free trial at ConstantContact because I was interested in it, but I didn't pursue it any further.

Although new to this site-and not the most techy person, I love email marketing. I have been using constant contact for well over a year now, and for the small business owner, it is a very cost effective means of staying in front of your customers. I acutally just started archiving my newsletters-due to customer request so that anyone may view old newsletters sent out via constant contact. CC offers this service for $5 a month-and you can put a link to it on your home page. It actually transfers to a page from CC that I put together with the CC program. I am starting to use CC for my wholesale business, and it is working. In B2B, you dont get the forward-a-friend growth that you see in B2C however, it is super quick-and you can see how many are opening it-and help track your conversion rates. I did research all of the email marketing companies-but found constant contact to have the best templates-and easy to customize. I would consider it-due to the low cost and how easy it is to use!

I do use email marketing....but in the form of a newsletter sent out on a monthly basis to individuals who have signed up to receive it. It's kind of like informal marketing!

I do email marketing, but only to those who opt in a my website. E-mail marketing can be very effective if you have a list of at least 20,000 or more.

I'm going to start experimenting and launching some info products pretty shortly. Lately I've been studying Jeff Walker's Product Launch Formula and seeing him launch a product to his list and grossing 100k in 24 hours is pretty intense, and something you could only do with a decent list.

Right now I know I'm passing up a lot of lost revenue on my websites not even trying to capture visitor emails. I'm working on getting some unique reports to start capturing these for each niche I'm involved in.
