Discussion about merging Personal Values and Start-Ups

I would love to hear how, if at all, other entrepreneurs are expressing their personal values through their business. I'm modeling my businesses after Patagonia's found Yvon Chourinard and Virgin's Richard Branson.

Who are you modeling your companies off of? What values do you think are most important to model? How about the separation between you and your family/friends/fun? Just wondering how others have positioned their companies in regards to these issues.

    Cheers.

I don't model my business after anybody. I like to have a plan of how I would like my business ran and where I want to go with my business and strive to reach that goal.

As far as the separation, it's very easy. Time wise, there are no issues (except with college), and support wise, everyone I surround myself with backs me 100% so they understand if I'm working long hours and such.
