    Daughter Now "in the biz"

In all honesty I haven't been hanging around this forum much in recent years (of course as I'm getting older)

However the reason for this post, is that my daughter (now seven) has been watching mommy and daddy over the past year in particular ... and I can see those wheels turning in her mind.

You see she has never known mom and dad to "go out to work" as we are both full time internet marketers.

Well this week she finally did it. After working hard for six months, she has released her first product! I am proud indeed, and it started selling in only the first hour.

    Nice job!

    Gin

So are you going to leave us hanging, or what? But, congrats to her and to you for having such a bright daughter.

Wow, that is quite impressive actually. I wouldn't purchase the tunes myself to be honest (kinda all sounded like old school video game music) however it is awesome that your daughter is starting to build a useful skill doing something she loves instead of throwing away all her time on video games and stuff.

I'm sure with continued practice and skill honing she can be making some awesome beats within a few years.

MIDI composers can actually make very good money, and they don't even have to have any real artistic talent, just digitizing conventional music for cell phone ringtones is quite lucrative. Maybe she could start a company that is sort of a go-to source for cell phone companies looking for MIDI workers to make ringtones on a contract basis. The MIDI composers with real talent can go into electronic dance music. Usually it's the disc jockeys in the "rave" culture that become famous, but what's a spinner without the MIDI? Electronic music is far more popular in Europe and Israel than it ever was here, but even in the US there's a small core of fans.

Your daughter is quite talented. Does she play any instruments? I'm assuming she plays the piano? I remember when I was seven years old I would just be playing my PS1 all day.
