Smile Cover Letters For Resume

Hello everyone

I will be applying for a second and possibly third job to help pay for school and pay for cost for my clothing line. I was wondering if anyone had any advice on what to put and say on a good cover letter for a resume.

Any advice is greatly appreciated =)

General example:

-state what you're applying for

-why you're applying for it

-what skills are required for it

-skills that you have (hopefully match the above)

-state that you will be a good fit for the company and the company will be a good fit for you, etc.

-thank them

Overall recomendations:
-cite specifics from your resume in the cover letter
-address it to a specific person
-display knowledge about the position you're applying for
-be proffesional, optimistic, and courteous

Best of luck...

after sending the cover letter and resume, pick a up blank thank you card and address it to the person whom you sent it to thanking them for their time in reviewing your resume ( i would do this within a day or two, you want them to remember your name). Follow up within a week of mailing the card. Show interest in the company. Research the company.

Best of luck to you
