    Could This work?!

First of all i live in london, united kingdom.

I am starting up a business which i am intially going to run on ebay.

I plan to import bottles of castor oil and coconut oil, to then sell on ebay, but i will sending them to my house.
I will be looking to receive around 25 bottles each in my first month, half from india and half from the USA.

Do i need a license to hold these bottles in my house?
Will customs want me to pay some sort of tax?
Will companies have a problem sending these products to my home address?

Please can someone supply me with information.

    Thank you in advance.

There should be some government import/export organizations that can answer these questions for you. Google away...

Call up your local sba style thingy there in London and see if they have an import export specialist to help you. Another idea is to ask another importer (non-competitor) in your area for a few minutes of their time. Buy them a tea and tap their brain.
