Computer Help Please!

Allright-
So i just got in the mail yesterday the CD with the order managment program from the distributor i use (its about time ) But anyways it will not work right on my PC for some reason. I spent 2 hours yesterday on the phone with the tech guys at the distributor and they couldnt figure out why it is doin what it is.
Now here is what i think the problem could be maybe but i need your help to fix it. The computer i have in my office is a pc that was sent to me by the trading firm i trade for. For some reason they have the harddrive as f:/ drive. So when i install the program it wants to copy the files to the C:/ but i can obvioulsy put it from c: to f:/ but there is one batch of files that automatically trys to copy to the c:/ during installation. So the tech guys told me to ignore theose files and just copy those my self directly onto the f:/. But nothing made the program run right.

But anyways long story short i tought maybe they sent me a defective CD so i went to my parents house to try it on thier PC and it works just perfect. So im guessing that some files didnt copy right onto my PC since my HDD is on the F:/.

Here my question... is it possible to change my HDD from F:/ to c:/???

That is the only thing that i can think of why it doesnt work right, and if that doesnt work i will have to reformat because something is screwed up then.

So if there is a way to change the drive to f:/ to c:/ that would be grea if someone could tell me how to.
Thanks a bunch-
Joey

Changing the drive letter is easy, but I don't know what it will do to your other programs. You probably have a lot of current programs running properly on Drive F and when you switch it to C who know what will happen.

If you still decide to change it, here is how, please don't make me responsible for anything it messes up on your system, I warned you.

In Windows XP Pro, Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Computer Management.

On the left, select Disk Management. On the bottom half of the screen on the right, Right Click the current name of the drive. Than select "Change Drive Letter and Paths". Than select Change.
