Question choosing sch

hey guys, i need some help here.. any opinion or comment is good. i'm currently attending a 2-yr college and will be transferring this fall. i applied to several schools and got accepted in most of them. my problem now is that i don't know which school to choose. i'll be majoring in finance and hoping to work as a financial analyst after graduation. do you guys think when i apply for work (apart from personal qualities) they will look at the school (whether is a top school or not) or just at the gpa or is there other important aspect? and also is the location of the school important?

so anyone, any advise? thx for ur time.

That's a good question. I was told by a CUNY representative (in NYC) that when you transfer schools, the previous school that you was at is important. I'm not absolutely sure why, but I then told by someone else that your previous school that you went to is important in getting accepted into your second college. The second college will look at the first school and get a sense of what type of person you were at that school. If the school has a bad reputation, the second school may not take a chance with the student who wants to come in. I find this very stupid, since I feel that the previous school should not be a deciding factor- it should be the GPA.

That brings me to the GPA part. The GPA is very important. If someone's GPA is low, then the second college may not take that person in since they would be taking a chance- a chance which to them they would say is dangerous.

Personal qualities are important as well. If you have great personal qualities, this would increase your chances of getting in. Colleges want to get good vibes from you and by having good personal qualities, the college will feel comfortable with you.

Hopefully this helps. There's probably more determining factors, but these are by far the most important.
