You really have to be more specific when you ask questions. What exactly do you want to find out about the chocolate business?

I think chocolate is great, but there are so many chocolate businesses already out there. What will make yours different? How will people find your site? Will offer any chocolate that people cannot get at other online stores?

Just some questions that jumped into my head when I read your post.

Good Luck with the idea.

Chocolate??? There are so many people addicted. Go for it. Be competitive in pricing, delicious in taste, and offer great service.

I love to make chocolates and dip them. I've found that other people like dipping their own chocolates too--they didn't necessarily want to make the fillings. I sold quantities of filling and them made them up and had people come and dip them at my house. It was so fun for everybody and they got yummy take-home treats. I made some money too. I don't think I could make money if I did this as my only job, but it was a little extra money on the side.

Good Luck with your chocolates. Find a niche.

Optimizing a chocolate site is a critical task since these sites are loaded with flash and animation however there are good scope no doubt if you sell branded products.

I think that the Chocolate business could be quite profitable as people who like chocolate might be easily encouraged to try chocolate produced and sold by some one local rather than large chain producers such as thorntons for example.
Advertising would be key, be inventive, keep it low cost and you could have a nice earner.

I think chocolate is a great idea, it is something that consumers will buy again and again if they are satisfied with the product. I always wanted to start my own business and chocolates was one of the many ideas.

I mean come on....chocolate covered strawberries, chocolate covered pretzels, popcorn, oreos, pringles, marshmallows...............the list goes on!

Good luck to you!
