Can I Propose a Live Chat Area?

Often I find myself just wanting to visit with fellow YE's, people who have the same intrests as me, in actual live chat. My friends and family do not understand the possibilities on internet business and find myself often upset from the lack of support i get, even when I believe the idea is a great one.

Would it be possible to aquire a Live Chat channel for YE? I think it would be great to get to know fellow YE's better and establish relationships, this would create much more partnerships and more opportunities (forgive my spelling if thats wrong) for us.

I could go on and on about how this could be helpful and im sure the people with the authority have already debated this but would it be possible to get a Live Chat?

I would love a chat room for YE. Only bad thing is, chat rooms tend to attract idiots who like to have "fun" and start fights and such in chatrooms, lol. So we'd need mature mods to kick the idiots!

embedding a chat applet wont be a problem. i support the idea of having a chat area for the members!

i've always supported this idea everytime people in the forum bring it up. I think it'd be a great idea. It could easily be set up like ''namepros'' i can digg up there user applet for it, people was looking over there for it on namepros yesterday.

Plus on that server if theres constant spam off a member the server automatically bans then as well as the mod's in there.

I see a good domain that is not taken, if i buy it and make the chat site with http://www.mapable.com like akula suggested would you chat? We would need to find a way to let everyone know about it somehow.

Yeh I would chat. Ive been having alot of fun with the chat in my sig, but sadly not many people areusing it.

I put the mapable chat room on my website Entrepreneur Lounge website. But because it's a new site it's gonna be dead for a while. Though it would be good to see if the chat room develops into something big..we'll see.

My main point is that I think a live chat area will be good. I say, give people the option to post or chat.

I have to thank Akula for making reference to the chat software, it's a great bit of kit. Easy to upload as well.

A live chat area wud be a fantastic idea. Being able to just discuss things with other like minded individuals would be a great asset to the site. And i dont no bout yee guys but i frankly hate typing all my question and all that. Its too slow and annoying.

Come on Admins.....what's your thoughts on a live chat? Replace the "Members List" or "Calendar" links up the top with a chat

Leave them just remove the ''New Posts'' one we see all that info on the homepage, and moved everything along and put chat where the members list is so it looks like this
