Business Idea with Gambling

I'm still looking for that one big business idea that really pumps me up and makes me want to start it right away. So I decided to turn it over to some fellow entrepreneurs and see what your guys input is for me. I'd like to do something with gambling, I enjoy playing poker and blackjack and going to the casino. Not looking into a pro poker career or anything like that, but I enjoy playing online for fun, not looking to start up my own casino site as I don't have the website design experience needed for that.

So just wondering if anyone else out there had some ideas for me. All thoughts are appreciated.

I don't think that this is really good idea but its a short cut of generating money.

You know, one of the businesses my friend is in is to work as an affilliate to poker rooms. Sign up users and get a part of their rake. Although not much, i'm sure this can add up as your sign-ups increase.

Hi nickbaker,

You may want to consider doing something revolving around fantasy Sports. They are legal to gamble on in the US and it is one the largest and fastest growing gambling industries there is. I also believe I just read somewhere that a major fantasy sports site / network (ABC sports I think) is opening up there sports fantasy information and technologies to third party App developers. If you like sports and you like gambling it might be a niche to consider. You could just create some type of data company and not really worry about the gambling aspect of it if you wanted to as well.

Yeah starting your own on line would be very tough unless you are good at mathematics and computer science because some of these gambling games you will put up will need some big ass perfect algorithms!

I don't really understand, is it a business you want to start? Or are you just looking for info on the best ways to win money?

What about a blog website on certain strategies and guides on playing different casino games and poker? Thoughts on that?

Your whole idea is very broad - you said you don't want to start a gambling website but, dont want to be the gambler either... what does that leave?

Just understand its easier to market to people when you have traffic, just prepare good stuff like your strategies your talking about on the blog/website your building.
