    Books (Leaders are Readers)

Just like Jim Rohn, TJ Hoisington, and many others, books are solely the foundation for their success.

So what books are you learning from for your success?

    Books that I've read are...

Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki
Rich Dad, Poor Dad For Teens by Robert Kiyosaki
How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill
If You Think You Can by Tj Hoisington

All on my to read list, have got the books just have not go around to them, I have read a bit of Think and Grow Rich by Napolean Hill found it a bit odd. Business books I read I like are about personalties and how business works I enjoy more, these books are just selling themselves with stuff anyone could write no personal insight into their lives and how they did it like with Branson’s books etc.

well then again these are self-help books and the authors are all if not usually successful somehow and wouldn't be writing about it if they haven't experienced it for themselves. and on top of that, the majority of people that read these books are not stupid enough to just pick up a self-help book on a shelf without knowing that the author has done something incredible.

Where to begin lol.... I wasn't much of a reader until I read Brian Tracy's - "21 Secrets of Self-Made Millionares" One of the secrets was reading: perhaps an average of a book a week would end up to be 50 books a year.... which is probably 48 more books than the average American reads a year.

But anyways, in the past 2.5 months alone i've read these books because i've started a business, and an looking for a solid foundation in investing.
    • The Creative Business Guide to Running a Graphic Design Business by Cameron S. Foote
    • The Party's Over : Oil, War and the Fate of Industrial Societies by Richard Heinberg
    • The Warren Buffett Way, Second Edition by Robert G. Hagstrom
    • The Motley Fool Investment Guide : How The Fool Beats Wall Streets Wise Men And How You Can Too by David Gardner, Tom Gardner
    • The Little Book That Beats the Market by Joel Greenblatt
    • You Can Be a Stock Market Genius : Uncover the Secret Hiding Places of Stock Market Profits by Joel Greenblatt
    • When Genius Failed : The Rise and Fall of Long-Term Capital Management
      by Roger Lowenstein
    • Benjamin Graham on Value Investing : Lessons from the Dean of Wall Street by Janet Lowe
    • Trump: How to Get Rich by Donald J. Trump (this was pure toilet reading lol)

Here are the books i am currently reading, or are next in line to be read.
    • The Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need (Only Investment Guide You'll Ever Need) by Andrew Tobias
    • The Intelligent Investor: The Definitive Book On Value Investing, Revised Edition by Benjamin Graham

No to be honest I never really believed in it. I don't think it's for me.

But on the flipside, I have listened to and read many books written by MLM peoples. One of the best books (well this one was an audio book... so one of the best books i listened to is Conversations with the Greatest Netowrker in the World.. Yeah its all based on MLM, but the ideas thought in this book can be applied to any sales scenario.

Some not all most are just looking for a quick buck as we all know by trying to sell their stuff. But I prefer books about personalties and the way they did business anyone can be successful in business you don’t need to a read a get rich quick book to do it. I just prefer the other types of books I mentioned before.

just came back from a book store actually... I picked up a book called "What rich people know and desperately want to keep secret" by brain sher. I know the title sounds one of those scheme books, but I've read couple of chapters before I purchased, and I was impressed with its content.

If you want to pickup something for your motivational purpose, I would recommend it to anyone. (it's a small book so you can finish it in two hours @ book store if you got time)

I see Robert Kiyosaki up there a lot. A lot of people have said that he is a big fake, but I beg to differ. I think he is a pretty inspirational person.

And.. I'll definitely will look into some of these books for my summer reading. I just need to finish my SATs classes first
