    so my questions are

do they make this money from
    sponsorsors
or from luring you in to pay them to set up your own blog
    or
selling you packages about making money from bloging
    HE WHO DARES!!!

    Hi totters,

Of course you can make money from blogging.

What these fast track approach sites are not telling you is that it takes a lot of time and money to start seeing an ROI. You can start up a blog and put content on it day after day, but unless you are marketing it correctly (which is the hard and most expensive part) you will find it very hard to attract traffic to your blog. No traffic = No customers, No customers = No Money!

I would recommend staying away from sites that show you how you can be driving a brand new Porsche to your private marina to get on the boat you just bought, just by having a blog that you purchase through them.

    Just my 2 cents!

There really is not a "fast track" approach to blogging that's what they wont tell you. The fastest track you're going to find with making money blogging is working your butt off to get traffic to the site/updating your blog daily with quality posts. After a little while you'll see some traffic starting to build and hopefully returning if your content is good.

I start an MMA blog about 6 months ago and was posting about 7-10 new posts per day for about a month and advertising my face off on every site and everything you can imagine. The end result was I got about 200 readers per day going to my blog by the 4th week, but I was about as burnt out as you can imagine (I was also working another 40hr a week job). Anyways I didn't keep up with it and it eventually lost all the readers. The moral of that story is its tough, but very possible to work hard/smart and get a lot of readers to your site. Hope this helps you out some bud!

They are affiliate sites... they make money selling products... Stop looking for the get rich quick approach and start buying books on Internet Marketing. Learn the real skills... stop looking for tricks.

If you want to start up a blog to drum up business, that is fine, but don't look for shortcuts! I am actually in the process of working with my marketing interns to get an architecture blog up and running, it is an arduous process. Be prepared for it!
