I don't know about you, but I had to start working as soon as I turned 16. Not everyone has parents who can pay for college, not to mention your living expenses throughout college.

Wow, what a great article.

I graduated from college last December with very high expectations. I did find an entry-level job out of college, but I was basically a telemarketer with an impressive title. After three months I was laid-off. Now I am an unemployed college graduate. Even telling HR people that I owned a successful business doesn't help my cause.

One piece of advice I want to say to everyone in college is that there are thousands and thousands of college students with your major that are just like you. I recommend doing whatever it takes to separate yourself from the crowd.

Sometimes it helps focasing your education on something specific. Majoring in Business is probably the most general education ever...(in my expert opinion)..Marketing could be the most general also...
