Just wanted to mention a new 'hobby' of mine- eRepublik.
This is a macro-level online simulation of the modern day world. Join up, create a player, upload an avatar, and choose where you want to live. Everything in the simulation is run by the players- from Country President down to the individual businesses, it's up to the players to determine the outcome of this eWorld.

I've been active on eRepublik for approx. 3 months now, and am getting ready to run in the Congressional elections. I currently run a company producing weapons used to fight in the war against Russia, Columbia, and a couple of other countries. Overall, this has been the best "sim" style MMO game that I've played. At first, it just takes 3-5 min a day to build up your character. Before long, you end up getting sucked in and spending an hour or two each day, along with periodically watching the iRC boards. Overall, I recommend it to any young entrepreneurs for building some quick (and fun) management/business/political experience. Take a look, and see how you like it!
