    At Work

As you can tell I am at work right now and one of the things I love about my job besides the fact that they are not doing any layoffs even in this economy. I enjoy the fact that my job allows me the freedom to do research for starting my business and almost no real stress. It's also a wonderful resume padder for a college student.
So I started to wonder how many of you get time to work on other things at your job and if you do get time are you researching, playing around, networking. I have a friend that spends 2 hrs of his work day having online meetings, while I don't support that it's still productive.

Don't get to comfortable with your job because you never know what your company's CEO may have up his or her sleeve. But I commend you for looking to start your own business. That is the first step towards living the EXTRAORDINARY LIFE.

I have a good hour or two to research on the internet while at work...I feel fortunate that I have some freedom.
Looking for franchise information in Florida.

I use my down time at work to either research stuff or get onto forums and the like.

I am doing online sales or blogging at my work. Certainly, that's possible because I own my business, though.

Uh, you should be warned that having a business requires actual work, sometimes a lot of it. This is different from a government job where you goof off all day and still get paid. Do that at your own business and you'll be out of business. Actually, government work is pretty good, do nothing and get paid, you just have to show up. You may be out of a job once the deficit reaches $5 trillion and the national debt $50 trillion, but the rest of us will be too. The only thing better is welfare, play video games all day and get a check, no office needed. If you can act crazy, you can get a check until the Saudis stop lending us money.

byzantium you seem slightly angry on the inside, just FYI. And I wasn't saying that you can goof around running your own business I believe I was just asking how people spend their downtime at their jobs. But thank you so much for that advice that no one asked for.
