    Are You Resourceful?

    Community Members,

I'm collecting information that will benefit me and my ventures. I'm relatively new to starting companies, so I have no experience or leads into which direction I need to take first. However, I have plenty of ideas. :-)

Being such a great community, would you be willing to share your resources with me? I need to know as much as possible. Some main topics being:

    - Getting my company name protected
    - Taking the proper measures to making a successful launch
    - Getting my company legally protected and recognized by the government

If you can think of any other core topics please don't be shy in sharing with me.

    Regards,
    William

what type of company are you looking to do?

    what state are you in?

one of the first things I did was file for incorporation with my state.

Depends on the business but you can register an Scorp or LLC with your state. The cost usually varies from a hundred to a few hundred dollars. This will protect your name and get you recognized by the gov't.

A successful launch,... well, that depends on what your business is.
