Appreciating what you have in life

Ever taken a minute out, sat back and thought about exactly what you have in life? All the good things, the friends, the luxuries etc.

I took a few mins out earlier, never really thought about it before, but damn i've come far!

I try to think about it every once in awhile. It helps get me motivated.

it sure does! speaking of motivation i like watching things such as dragons den or the apprentice.
and also looking at pictures of ferraris!

I totally agree with your point. I think society spends alot of time brushing over the finer detail in general.

When we take the time to city back and reflect on previous achievements, we then can begin to measure our own successes.

One of my favorite post thus far! Thanks for sharing. I definitely think that being grateful for all the things that one has in life allows us to appreciate life and what we have achieved even more. In order to gain more wealth, happiness etc. we must first realize the things in life that already give us that in order to achieve more. Regardless of most might think, there are millions of people living in less-than-desirable conditions all over the world. Appreciate always! Good lucK!

that's a very nice philosophy, as we always tend to concentrate over what is wrong in our life rather than our blessings. I have been told that if you focus on your blessings then you are being genuinely grateful to god(i am religious), which is the greatest prayer.
