Anyone here from Houston, TX area? Need a marketing person

...or any ideas of how to find someone? Get an intern? My manufacturer is in need of someone to help pulicize the company, some graphics knowledge for brochures, take out advertising and make contacts to large companies etc.

I think there are some sharp hungry people here with hearts on fire. Hey...come to think of it...why isn't there a help wanted on this site?

They do safety and rescue equipment for oil companies and construction industries. Any ideas appreciated!

A help wanted section would be a great addition.

Have you thought about finding someone on elance.com, guru.com, domystuff.com and other freelancing sites?

I'm sure you could find someone on one of those sites.

Also look on craigslist.com in your city. You can post in the "marketing / pr / ad" section of employment. It's free to post for your city, you can post every day and you will definetely get responses. Craigslist get loads of traffic.

Thank you! I will try these sights. We not a hot young marketing person for my manufacturer. A full time employee. Marketing as an employee is like being your own entrepreneur because you take your record with you when you leave.

I fully believe in young hungry freshly educated people on fire and ready to push their way to a successful career.

I did try Craig's List. I do know that is a very hot site right now. Thanks again!

I will post a thread for a help wanted here. Please voice your positive opinions.
