    Any photographers in here?

Just wondering coz soon am doing a shoot and planning to do it in a professional studio setting and want to use the green chromokay backdrop so we can edit it really easily in photoshop later.

I've done shoots before but on location - not in a studio

How does the green backdrop work?

    Hiya,
I've never done this kind of photography before (chroma key), however i assume it goes something like:
You shoot your subject in front of the green/blue/whatever screen (you must make sure that your subject isn't wearing green if you do it in front of a green screen, same goes for blue, pink, puple, you name it...)
You port the image(s) into Photoshop [or whatever you use]
In [Photoshop] i guess you create a foreground and background layer, and use the select colour range tool to grab the green background where you can then add your own background image, pattern, etc!

    Hope this helps,

Hope you enjoy the new year,

    Nathaniel.

I would also be interested to know if there are any (professional) photographers on here. I may be in need of one. Must be in New York and must be able to do on location work. PM me.
