Take Bob's jewelry. the manufacturing dollar goes to the baker, the car mechanic, the raw material distributor, tool makers, tradesmen as they upkeep the manufacturing facilities, accountants etc....and Bob even spreads some manufacturing profits to a few strippers from time to time (just kidding Bob). Each dollar gets circulating through 20....50....who knows how many jobs. If Bob didn't make his jewelry, India would...and all those jobs will not be supported. Bob can be very proud of that and even more if he exports bringing foreign dollars into the U.S. economy.

I heard today 28 million people get food stamps in the U.S. Why? FEW MANUFACTURING JOBS ANYMORE

These are some of the things, in this thread, the mentality that make a venture good for all, not just one and spread the benefits; a charitable demeanor across the board. Leading with heart. The point I am trying to make is when you know your heart beats right...there just ain't no stopping you...you WILL BELIEVE in yourself.

If you have a financial business that runs on numbers only, well then it would be nice if you offer a FAIR deal even if you can outsmart the consumer. When the consumer trusts you, they will dump all they have on your desk. Win-win.

Yes Bob, the big boat is in the plans, the one thing I want for parties with friends and co-workers. The company boat. A smile of success, laughter with friends, a drink under the stars and on top of the water....all the worries left on land...THE BEST.

Ron
Still waiting for you to answer the question, Ron:

How much to you plan to keep of the money made from your invention? (Before you claimed that you were going to be a billionaire, but now you're claiming that it's not about the money but about helping others. This seems contradictory, since someone so concerned with helping others should be giving away every bit of wealth not necessary to support a minimum standard of living.)

–noun 1. a person who organizes and manages any enterprise, esp. a business, usually with considerable initiative and risk.
2. an employer of productive labor; contractor.
–verb (used with object) 3. to deal with or initiate as an entrepreneur.
–verb (used without object) 4. to act as an entrepreneur.

I have always understood this to mean an individual who went out and started something on their own, and was at least able to live from it, if not become successful. Hence the term "entreprenuerial spirit". It has nothing to do with trying to better society.

nobody says "you" have to do good with what you make or if you leave a destructive wake... You can make it and hord it, you can cut your neighbors throat for an extra nickle in profit, do whatever is right for you... their are plenty of people who will clean up after the mess you leave,,, so, you don't "have" to help anybody but your own bad self,,,

Helping other people along the way is just "another" way of doing it... a "perk" of sorts. but, some people run and some people stroll.

Have you ever tried any of this stuff? Or do you just try to get under people's skin, question them and irritate instead of contributing useful information so we can all learn and network here.

Listen to me. I am VERY VERY deep into the inventing community of the United States. I have a building reputation. I do things to learn on this forum and also to contribute.

I know you talk about your mom's house and what she paid for it and what your mom expects it to be worth.

I have many products myself that I have and am working with manufacturers made of metal, plastic and textiles. I know the stories of all my inventor friends which I help with manufacturing.

You try to get a product manufactured here and you get re-directed overseas and told the manufacturers that used to do much of the manufacturing has switched to outsourcing only or dropped out all together.

Listen...you keep questioning me. Have you ever sat down with a company CEO to get a product manufactured? Or just maybe some stuff for your mom.

I have sat down with many many CEOs and top executives including a business proposition with 3M's CEO Liveo Desimone about 10 years ago (that one was by written correspondence)

Why are you trying to poke holes in everything I say? Do this....network, contibute and learn...OR ELSE YOU WILL BE BROKE! You try to poke holes in everything people say...I've searched your posts.

I am here to make friends with some young smart people and maybe some partnerships in business will be formed.

I AM NOT HERE TO PLAY GAMES WITH YOU. I'll tell you; you can see WHO exactly is making a business for themselves and who will never get anywhere because they have NO RESPECT.

I am writing a full article on manufacturing this month in a major magazine. Who did you think you were talking to?

Wake up kiddies...you might meet someone here that can help you and build a great business relation ship. Be smart and don't mess with people. DUMBEST thing you can do.

Ron, Ron, Ron. Why do you KEEP avoiding a couple simple questions?

You stated a fact and I simply asked you to provide a reliable source. Coming back at me the way you just did shows you to be full of it, regardless of how many names you can drop.

Ronnie! You got to stop justifying yourself... If you have done what you say you have WELL DONE! But please don't try to justify yourself with your credentials.

I am here for one reason...NETWORK. The sharp kids out of school are just SPECTACULAR. I am an old dog....really. I have a special fire inside that young people admire and I recipricate by giving total respect.

I am here to LEARN FROM OTHERS, like all should, not challenge people.

To jemnq2 I'm gonna tell you a story and here is your facts. One of my manufacturers is Aerial Machine and Tool...look them up. They do special ops equipment for fighter pilots, rescue systems for SEALS, tactical vests. We have a close relationship. I LOVE them guys. GREAT historic, proud U.S. manufacturer. They have been too busy with the wars for my products so we took a break, we are starting up again.

Now the story, I sought a company called Switlik Parachute Company as a manufacturer. They once worked with Amelia Eirhart developing parachutes in WW1 and WW2. They were the military's main parachute supplier and developer.

I sat down with the VP for my product a number of times. After all our talking he said to me, "Let me ask you something, why don't you just have this made in China for 1/3 the price"? MADE ME SICK!!!! A legendary U.S. manufacturer for military telling me that!!! Very very sad.

What do you think? Isn't that sad? That is the mentality of many U.S. manufacturers and it is ruining our entire country. Made in USA must come back for this country to thrive. People running overseas for products made is selling out the US. Ofcoarse they will be cheaper!!!! We are a great developed country! We can't give away all our manufacturing pride...we will then be nothing.
