Just about to go to the pub. I obtained my merchant account approximately two weeks ago.
I had to provide £6,500 security to the bank before they let me have this, so I spent a
week on the net searching credit card companies <insert card pic> looking for cards. I decided
that getting as many credit cards as i could would be my only way of raising the required capitol,
me being jobless and all. I ended up with around six or seven cards in total i think. Each card
was maxed out, and i worked out i was paying around £5 interest per day, which didn't
seem to bother me for some reason. A friend and I were chatting about it at the pub one day;
he seemed amazed at what I had done, saying he would not of had the bulls to do this. I
just figured that I must be really naive or something. I dunno.
I knew that getting this merchant account would be my only way of making my idea successful - I had tried WorldPay
previously but their remittance period of 30 days (As opposed to 3 days with a direct
merchant account) was crippeling. With that, I figured i would need about £40,000 of capitol
to support a months worth of trading. Anyway, it has been over a year since my idea, and
in that time I have learnt how to build websites / how to program etc etc all for this idea,
so i wasn't gonna give up now.
anybody want me to carry this on (preferably in a sticky mods
)??
