Hi all!
I was wondering if you are familiar with posting info about yoru business in other people's blogs? Say someone did a blog about the new nail polish they got for christmas, you can post a comment that advertises your business or product.
Hi all!
I was wondering if you are familiar with posting info about yoru business in other people's blogs? Say someone did a blog about the new nail polish they got for christmas, you can post a comment that advertises your business or product.
That is always an option, but what you really want to do is provide value to other readers and the blog's author with your comment. You want to address what was talked about in the post and interact with it. Simply posting something like "cool post, check out my store" is pretty tacky and is looked upon highly.
Provide value to the other readers, and then if they are interested they will click through to your site.
I find it convinient because I can meld my comments towards my business so that everyone sees me. You have to be agressive and message many people online if you want to win over competition.
check out my blog...
Even if the blogger who owns / manages the domain allows your comment it will be probably be a 'no follow' link.
Wordpress and Blogger both insert 'rel=nofollow' into the script - this is a default setting that not too many bloggers even know how to turn off.
