    Advertising gone wrong!

As I entered the Apple Store today, I decided to change the homepage of all the macbooks to my website. Click here. . I figured it would be a great way to gain exposure. People love to use the macbooks at the store, and having my site come up automatically might be a good thing.

Unluckily, the store manager did not appreciate my idea, restarted all the computers and banned me from entering the store again.

Are there any legal justifications to that? Is it illegal to change the homepage on a computer in a store? I find that absurd. My intentions might not have been very innocent, though.

Just figured I should share a story of a failed attempt at some free advertising.

I do this all the time, although I don't change the default, I just leave my sites up on the screens.
