    About to Lose My Job....

My boss is selling his business, and there are only three of us working at the office.

In all honesty when he sells I don't think I will be going with him to his next business he is going into, and I don't really want to stay with the new owner.

So it brings me to a dilema. I hate the idea of working for someone else, but at the moment none of my business' are generating enough to support me totally. As I am only making about $150 a month online.

I am just not really motivated to look for a new job, cause I have never been happy at any job I have been in.

I have thoughts of finishing some training I started and get into stock broking... but im not sure.

Not sure what I am really asking for here, but I am a bit confused at where to go from here...

I've had similar problems and so has a friend of mine who is also an entrepreneur, but at the end of they day we realize we must do whats best for ourselves and our businesses. So if we must work a job we hate just a little longer, then we'll grin and bear it.

I guess what I'm trying to say is that you gotta do what you gotta do. But if you think you can afford to take a break for awhile by all means do so, on the other hand if you are in need of a higher source of income then you probably should start thinking deeply.

Anyway good luck with any choice that you make.

I agree with Haze. If you can grin and bear it, then you should. It will make your transition easier if you can save up a little before you find a new job. I wouldn't make the drastic decision, until you are sure you know exactly what is going on.

The others are right. Practical thinking tells you that you are not prepared to build a better and new business, your business is not generating enough, and that you still have lots to go in learning stock.

For now the object is to accumulate capital and teach yourself more independent earning ways. Thsi means you have to take a job.

Look on the brightside. This will enable you to get a job you actually like. In a field that interests you.

    Job

What are your interests? If you could choose the perfect career or business what would it be? Don't think of what barriers might exist. Let yourself dream.

I am thinking about just getting a casual job, and working part time.

I mean, I live at home and my parents are very supportive of my entrepreneurialism.

And this would give me more time to spend on my online ventures, because at the moment, I work 9-5 and have something on about 5 out of 7 nights -so trying to find time to do stuff usually happens from about 9pm til 1am.

The lack of sleep is killing me..

Work part time and put the other half into your businesses online. Since you are making a bit online you probably already know where your time is best spent so you can be making more. You are definitely on the right track.

I have been talking with a friend, and we are going to go out bush for a couple of weeks when I finish up, and just camp, and go walking and stuff.

I want to use this time to relax, and just allow my mind the time to think of where I want to go, and what I want to do.

I have a few projects I am working on at the moment, that if time were spend on them that they money would start flowing, so I would love the chance to give them a go.

There you go, things are looking good already. Taking some time off to rethink your direction is good...maybe I ought to do that one of these days.
