A hot girl + a website = money

Ok I have an idea I am planning to carry out - I am a web/graphic designer and also do photography.

Ok now I have an idea that is not NEW but I feel it could be tweaked to be made unique.

I am sure some of you may have heard of Raven Riley - basically a normal girl who is pretty hot, done some photo shoots at home with a friend, made some sex videos...put together a website and charge people to view the material. Update it every week with a new video...put in live video webcames, forums etc and people keep coming back for more.

Very popular, she is now a mini celeb in the web world and even has starred now in a professional porn flick.

That's just an example.

My idea - put a lot of effort and make a very professional and classy website. Market it, brand it perfectly...like a major company like Chanel markets their own new perfumes etc with adverts and virals etc etc to get attention.

I have a few girls I know - all very hot - who I've passed the idea of a site with photos of them on it and every week a live video - as well as a few recorded videos. No sex - maybe topless...no sex..

Ok now my idea is how to make this a bit more unique -

Add in a blog to it where the girls can post what is on their mind - The target audience I guess is going to be mainly males. 18 - 40 - you know old guys love young hot girls!

A forum where people can exchange thoughts

Photos of a girl - updated every 2 weeks maybe with a new shoot

Videos recorded and uploaded

Every week a live 30 minute session with a girl where people can ask questions etc etc

Events - I was thinking, the girl could say, I'm off to so and so nightclub in London on the 29th September if anyone wants to pop in and say hello to me! (It would be in a nightclub/public place so it's just normal and safe, just people will know her from the net) - Like a bit of self promotion

If she gets popular or the idea catches on, people may request her to attend etc...

I'm purely thinking of it from a SEX SELLS idea - people will pay to get full membership benefits like seeing where she will be going, or videos, forum etc etc

It will be a website - can also release a small merchandise line of tshirts promoting the site/the girl

Just some ideas - any thoughts? Or what more can be done...

Or if not from a "sex sells" idea, how could I make it more all people friendly...

holy crap, I HAVE THE SAME IDEA!! Im a photographer myself...I too wanted to create a site JUST like that. Where there are pictures of the girls, blogs, videos...forums. Just more interactive stuff.

Anyway, I think you should go through with that idea.I've seen ur work on hollister long time ago. You could create something very unique with ur skills. I think ur my buddy on facebook lol...representing DOL. Anyway, im kind of interesting working with you on this idea. I have a couple girls my self who are hot and might be interested.

Seriously, there comes a time when you just need to let it go.

If you're really going to do something like this, Young Entrepreneur forum is not the place to ask questions like this. Go to XBiz.com and post your question on the boards. Trust me, they know this stuff a lot better. This is pretty much getting yourself into the adult industry. Is that what you really want to get into? Not saying I care about the moral/ethics necessarily, but it's not quite the cakewalk as you think. It's quite saturated, and there are a lot of legal and contractual ramifications you need to consider with sites like these. Talk to a lawyer.

If you really want to get good responses ask the same thing on adult webmaster forums (google for them). Many owners of such aa sites post there, even owners of that Raven Riley site

I dont think he's wrong for posting this idea here. Women and kids do visit the site, but there are many more sites that are a lot worse than this simple idea. He's not going into sexually intricate details here; he's portraying his idea in a post. It's not disrepectful to post this either. If people don't like it, click the X and move on.

Now, the idea is not original... however, there are adult sites popping up all over and it's a crap shoot on who will prosper. Good luck with the venture.

Anyway, if you're going to do Solo girl sites, you're about 5 years too late.
You're either going to need a whole network of them and a REALLY good affiliate program to drive the traffic, or you're going to have to discover some bizarre new niche that no one's done yet, and your girls are unlikely to want to do...

Firstly, how much are you gonna pay these girls? Secondly, if you are gonna charge for membership, I don't think many would sign up as there are so many adult sites, hot girls' blogs around. Thirdly, an update rate of once per fortnight is too low.

I am not saying this idea would be a flop but a lot of effort and creativity would have to be put into branding to create a unique selling point.

Looked at your website, think you do some fantastic work. Here is my thought about your idea:

1) Classy, well branded website & marketed well = great start

2) Forums might be a good way to interact for 'some' of the visitors, I really believe that the best form of online interaction (experience) is a live video stream chat versus a forum. I think you've seen JustinTV, pretty compelling idea to be able to 'entertain' and get instant feedback from the broadcaster. Especially since the site is entertainment and not educational. When people watch JustinTV they stay many times for hours, if JustinTV would use this "viewer time" to sell ads on the site, they'd be raking in much more money (IMO). Don't think they actually do or understand the potential of "viewer online time" versus "simple page views". Big difference.

3) Yep, live video is theeway to go.

4) Another good idea, you'll have to ensure the security/protection of the girl(s).

5) Yep the net is becoming a TV Channel, so, produce a Model, raise an audience, get some sponsors, you become her/their agent & marketing manager.

6) I have watched some women on JustinTV say that if they get 800 viewers (ie) that they'll take off their shirt/bra...this gets them banned eventually, but in the meantime I have seen their viewers (stats) go from like 150 to over 1,000 within the course of 5 to 10 minutes. Very viral, if that's what you call it. You may not even need a revenue stream from a "membership basis", if the traffic is high and traffic stays online (on that site) for a prolonged length of time, then your revenue (IMO) should come from advertising (ads on the site itself).

Just some ideas - any thoughts? Or what more can be done...

I'm not sure how many desperate dudes would pay to "softcore stalk" a normal girl, yet there are some pretty strange things on the web - in fact me and my dad were laughing our assess off at adult baby clothing stores (dont click) just last night.

So I could be wrong.

But there's better opportunities out there other than pimping out girls on the net - get creative.

i dunno man... sex does sell. but if you cross the line it only sells to people online at 2am and thats not to many. but if your able to keep it classy, then perhaps.
