    Angry A Banking Question

Im not going to get into too much detail on our forum about the specific situation. Basically what happened is I have two accounts with my bank, one; the original account, I use for personal funds. The second; for business expenses, I only add money into the second account when I will be writting a check for something business related. I have had my original account since i turned eighteen, so nearly 4 years, and have had my debit card on that account. At some point it was switched to the other account . Just today I get a letter in the mail stating that I was overdrawn with a significant debt (I paid my college tuition with my debit card). I have reviewed my account tonight trying to find out what happeden and this is what I find. I have had issues with this bank in the past, which I know was their mistake. But never had an issue so obvious as this is. Im concerned that they will try to blow me off, so what I am asking is that other than the BBB is there any other organization that may be able to help out in this situation (possibly a banking relation association) if this cannot be resolved.

I would definitely suggest you deal with it in person. The Indians (if you know what I mean) won't be able to resolve this one.

They should be able to clean things up for you -- how long has it been overdrawn for? What is the big deal of transferring funds from one account to another...

Did they give you a second card at some point, that switched it? Or did it just magically switch?

The account overdrew on June 6. There is not a problem with transfering funds, there was planty of money in the original account; which the card should have been linked to. I have never had a card for the second account, and at some point last month the card switched accounts.

Its the banks fault that they linked your card with your second without informing you. You can either talk to the manager to sort it out or else just try to get an attorneys help. But before taking any extreme measures try to understand what happened actually and why did they do it and things like that. If you are confident of your self then drop the bomb!
