    5 Tips For Success

    * Do not dwell on the past...instead, LEARN from it...there is to much stress in your life as it is (no one needs any more!)

    * If you are able to, try to live below your means...try not to share your financial status with your friends, unless they are your business associates...you will be able to save more money and eventually invest, and become financially independent.

*Try to focus on several streams of income (don't put all your eggs in one basket)!

    * Make your money work for you...choose wisely. Do not give your money away, unless you have enough to give. If you are unable to help charities at the present moment, wait until you CAN help them!

*Is is never too late for education, and you are never too old to learn...NEVER, EVER give up on your goals and dreams!

You are correct about all of those tips. The most important one for me is education. Without knowledge you are doomed to fail! However, just obtaining knowledge is not enough. There is a quote that says "knowledge is power". I believe that is misrepresented..."the application of knowledge is power". Get the information and use it and it will serve you better.

I agree with you 100% when I was bringing up four kids all by my self I said to my self what is the best thing I can give to my kids
guess what the present was . The very best education of MCS Oxford and later to University today I am so proud of them all successful doing there own things. I must admit the time was too tuff for me but I did it some how with the help of children.

One more important thing to keep in mind is
Mind your own Business. There may be lots of noises and negative feedbacks but never give up. Evaluate every feedback and use them to get better in your Business not use them to demotivate you.

*Try to focus on several streams of income (don't put all your eggs in one basket)!
Some entrepreneurs will say the opposite. "Put all your eggs in one basket and watch that basket" - Andrew Carnegie
In other words FOCUS. Be an expert in something example Bill Gates, steve Jobs, Henry Ford Disney etc.

Very true Jesterx... i'm usually on here as a break.. or in the case of right now as i wait for emails to finish todays projects.

Great points, to add to the discussion:

I think number 2 is more elaborate than your explanation and could be an entire study. I agree, live below you means, but find ways to improve your means and find friends that do the same. My means don't afford me Armani suits, but I want to be around those that have that ability. Instead of charging Armani, I can have a resonable suit tailored and lined so as to fit in with new friends. I guess my point is to find ways to project an image above your means while spending below them. Luxury is about knowledge and presence and I think most of us here have the knowledge to pull this off.

I will also add that money is not the only way to help a charity. Volunteering some time or service can not only help the charity, but also your business and you. Volunteering at a charity auctions can get you networking for no cost, while helping a charity! A great way to expand your means without spending above them!
