The Rant:

It took me 27hrs (probably 14hrs of working) to get wordpress to work on 1and1's hosting. There were files I had to move, modify, delete, and reroute. It seemed every time I did something it changed something else. I had the site up for a few hours under theadblog.com/wordpress which wasn't what I wanted. So umpteen attempts later and bingo. She's up and running, starting to ad content.

Also, feel free to suggest anything. If you have constructive criticism I'll take that too. Obviously it is a young site (few hours) so don't go bashin' me. And if you have any articles or stories feel free to help me out there.

Ah i remember my first quest into wordpress integration. It was certainly tough, but once you get through it a light bulb goes off in your head.

As far as 1and1. I bought the domain thru there. I didn't do research, and I paid big time. Next time I am going with something really really easy!
