Personally i would contact the builders of these 50 000 new homes and tell them you will clean there sites every friday for them and remove their junkpiles. First of all don't even compare yourself to 1-800 got junk or any of the other larger competitors. In fact, even mentioning their name to your potential clients will lose sales. You are not them. Buy a rinky dink truck, print some flyers, buy a truck magnet and get to work.

They will pay younger kids to do the dirty work.

Make some side coin for now, see what it becomes in the future.

Look into your competitors and see what they are doing, but then also go to your local, small market stuff. Don't be afraid to be a small operation and do small operation stuff to get going!
