Because of the low % commissions on Amazon, I always find it interesting what products/niche Amazon Affiliates choose to promote.

What are you promoting? For me, I do a variety of books, magazines, and home theater equipment.

i;m not promoting anything because there are a lot better affiliate network than amazon and besides adsense is more preferable than amazon

When it comes to promoting Amazon products one of the best methods I feel is finding strong high margin niches. Look for something that people really need but that there is not a lot of marketing material out there. Using google and twitter trends is another great way to find popular items that might sell. If you build up a solid enough web presence for a product listed on Amazon you can also consider going straight to the supplier for a better deal or even selling the website you have created. Amazon's top product lists are another great tool to find niches that will sell well. There is a lot of business value to using Amazon as a research tool.

As soon as you have found products and built links you will have to insert them to your site in the most likely place where you think your visitors will click on them. It is a good and quick way.

Think of a niche that most interest you and start there...

Build a website or a Blog around that niche.

For example: If you really enjoy talking about games, choose that as one of your niches and build from that... Add Games from Amazon to your site, offer reasons for your target market to come to your site.

What might work is to offer cheats to some of the most popular games out there, that alone could drive traffic.
