I regsiter domains thru either GoDaddy.com or Directnic.net.....I have acquired domains thru others but like to keep all in one or two places (over see 500+ domains)

In terms of development....whatever you choose please make sure it is a "search engine friendly" shopping cart so you can get great search engine rankings.....

Godaddy seems to be working ok for me. I was very happy with the service I got from 1&1, as well.

godaddy has many horror stories about domain name stealing and stuff
its not so safe in my opinion
i recommend yahoo cuz i believe its legitmate and it is simple to design the webpage
and very straight foward and reliable

Stay away from google, paypal, yahoo etc. They are just another middle man in your business deal. I offer ecommerce hosting, which includes a cart, hosting, 1 year free SSL certificate, and a free merchant account set up (so you can accept credit cards directly on your site).

Let me know if I can help,
