Red face The Usefulness of Social Media Marketing?

    Hi guys,

I run a few small businesses and projects. However as my businesses haven't turned an amazing amount of profit yet and combining that with the fact that as a student with other expenses has meant that I don't have much money. This means that my combined marketing budget for all my businesses & projects is practically non-existent.

This lack of a marketing budget has resulted in me looking at different ways that I could promote, market and advertise my websites to generate more hits. One of these ways is by using free social media. The benefit of this is that it’s a self-regulating service where if you have good content it becomes popular and if you have poor content, you get nowhere. However, another bad point about this is that you generally also need a certain level of promotion to raise awareness of your webpage on Social Media Websites. That’s what I’ve been struggling with.

Most of my efforts with regards to advertising using social media are from the website theteenagemillionaire.co.uk. My other projects are listed on my personal site at Daniel-Johnson.net.

So what about you guys? What tips, comments and ideas would you share about marketing your website using social media?

    Best Regards,
    Daniel

Use the new facebook insights, they can tell you win you are doing something right/wrong.
I have found that it really depends on you industry, ex: lara's cakes and funky flash drives could do better via social media versus your other projects.

Social media is good in boosting online reputation. In the business of internet marketing, online reputation is very important. If you don't have it, you will likely not make it to the level of online success you are dreaming off. You see, trust is the driving force behind buying customers. With the proliferation of scams out there, buyers are very wary of online businesses so they purchase things only from the businesses they trust. And in order for an online business to be trusted, it must have some sort of positive online reputation.

Social media is someplace all legitimate businesses have to be to be able to stay in business now and days. Payday loan lenders are finally starting to realize that. They are benefiting from social media to show you that they are a safe place to borrow from. ith regards to emergencies, individuals want to feel safe borrowing cash. Luckily, payday lenders have found a new way to do that. Get more information at: Payday Loan.
