    Starting a food blog

I've done some research and checked it out a bunch of various food blogs but what features do you guys recommend that would make it unique and stand out?

I also love browsing food blogs. I think to make it better, the story should be well written provided with the photos of the food and how it become special.

Thanks for the advice I plan on taking digital pictures of all of the food that I eat. Does anyone know of an application that allows you to send pictures directly from your phone to a blog?

You could give some simple recipes, without that a food blog would be empty to me. A number of chefs have uploaded videos in YouTube.
I saw a lady on Discover Channel who was a "Food Historian", she traced the history of Kellogs cornflakes. You could have some posts on how foods like cornflakes and others have been created.

I think having a video tutorial section would be cool, I would totally use that! If you could show us the basics of cooking, that would go a long way to getting people to start to use your blog as a resource when they're cooking at home.

Good idea, I love food blogs. You can make your blog interesting by adding colorful pictures and giving simple and quick recipes. Along with the recipes you can also give good kitchen tips. Good luck

I have to go ahead and cosign the images. Who doesn't want to see some delicious food on the screen?
