Hi, I'm technically a new user here although I have been viewing this forum for a long while now and I know lots of people are willing to help here (this is where im struggling elsewhere!)

Basically I am looking to set up a local business directory. I've been trawling for information for days now and can't seem to find out where to start at all.

I know i can install a directory and add the information myself, but with thousands of entries its going to be very time consuming and pretty much impossible without some sort of help, which isnt on the agenda due to lack of funding.

My question is, is there an easier way to fill out the information in my directory to collect information with some sort of spider - or is there another way?

Any help would honestly be greatly appreciated.
