Exclamation Our New Kickass Startup - need advice

We are looking to release a revolutionary new web analytics package that does everything Google Analytics (or any other analytics tool) can't do. It's a tool that'll help everyone who has a website make their website much, much better.

I need about 10 people, who have websites or blogs, and who are concerned about their traffic, and I need to speak with you about our product and the things we can do to make it better for you.

    The problem:

The most common problem I've found on this forum, and one which I've experienced my self, is people not being happy with the performance of their website. This manifests it self when we get posts on this forum to the effect of, "Just created new site, can you tell me how to improve it?".

    The solution:

To help everybody in this situation, we're creating a web based tool which learns how your website visitors interact with your site, gives you a usability index score on how your website is performing and gives you guidelines for the kinds of things you can do to improve your usability score.

    Example:

Our analytics tool provides qualitative, rather than quantitative information to compliment the web analytics package you are currently using. It will provide information like, "This is what I enjoyed about your site, this is what can be improved, and this is why didn't buy what ever you are selling.

We think this tool will help a lot of entrepreneurs who want to improve the effectiveness of their sites, but do not know what to do about it.

    The vision:

Similarly to Google's PageRank, we think every major website in the world will have a SiteRank, which is a measure of the site's usability as determined by the people who use the website and partly, by our proprietary algorithms.

Please PM me, if you'd like me to tell you more. I need your help to get to alpha testing.

We will offer this tool to the top 10,000 websites on the internet and make up to 100 million dollars because of the ingenious way this analytics tool will make money. As always, it's important to me to take care of friends so if you help me now, I will make it a priority to be of help to you in the future.

    - Daniel

    I'm interested in traffic

I have to ask though akula, what plan/s do you have to become the market leader before Google sees your features and simply copies them.

I believe you said in a previous post how so many companies like 30boxes.com etc work hard only for Google to come out with the same (or even lesser feature/quality) tool and completely wipe out their traffic.

    cheers

I must say I am interested in the idea.

But I am a bit curious about how you are going to be delivering qualitative infomation. Is it just quantatative infomation with each number being a sentence rather that a number?

I have my blog, www.mebreezy.com, should I speak to you? I'd like more traffic, but it's a personal blog so I dont really care to much. I do run www.blghst.com which is a failure, but nonetheless still there.

Interesting idea-- if you can truly give people good qualitative information, it'll fly... But I'll be damned if I can figure out how you can do that, short of actually inventing artificial intelligence. ;-)

No worries Tony. It's a lot simpler and better than AI. It's real intelligence.

We should have alpha up by June. I'll put you on the mailing list.

The tool will help you get better results out of gojobby.

    I'm very excited

Your idea has a lot of potential, but you already knew that.

I'd be interested to hear your monetisation strategy if you're willing to share.

Sounds interesting... sort of similar to CrazyEgg but with value added interpretations of user behaviour.

Unfortunately I'm not in the web space so I don't have someting you can use for testing, but I'm sure there are many here who are willing to help.
