    Need your help on idea

Think about this..a fitness site where you enter everyday and record your workout. After recording a certain amount, you win actual prizes.

how would you monetize the site? what would pay for the prizes. Recently there have been quite a few startups launched that allow you to record workouts, however I don't think any offer prizes - so its a new angle.

How are you going to make sure people dont lie? My ultimate frisbee team has a fitness competition, which works like this:

    - entry costs 15,-
    - 6 days a week: 100 pushups, 100 situps
    - choose your own day off in the week (no saving up off days!)
    - 1 time a week: cardio, at least 20 minutes (running / bicycle riding / etc)
    - last man standing wins 50% of total entry, rest goes to charity

If you miss anything from the schedule, you're out. Monitored by ourselves, based on honesty.

Now the question is ... if money is involved and the contestants cant be trusted (i.e. they don't know each other well enough to trust each other), how are you going to make sure they did what they said they did?

Nice question arises, thank you all...how to stop people from cheating...What about one limit, can only do workout one listed a day, and you also have to upload a picture of yourself as signs of improvement?

Hmmm, it sounds nice but i don't think it's foolproof. You must be more innovative.
