    Making Money with Facebook Marketing!

    Hey!

I was wondering if anyone else has used Social Networking sites to pull in steady streams of income? I found success over the past several months making good money with Facebook and now I am starting to focus on Twitter as well as other outlets. I was wondering if anyone has success or wanted to share some knowledge...

I have seen social media drive traffic and impact sales, but not directly generate them. Unless you are selling a product via the internet. I view social media as more of a way to create a good web presence, rather than a sales source. I would be interested in hearing what you have to say about it though. What are some of the basics?

I believe Facebook and other social networking media are good ways to market your products. You gain presence through this media.

Facebook marketing is a popular way to make money online. A big part of this is due to the accessibility it gives its users to their friends on there. All someone needs to do is send a friend request and hope they accept. Once they accept, you can say almost anything you want to them, provided it is in line with the terms of service. It is even possible to make groups and people can become fans of the group. What better way to gain support for a product? There are endless ways to make money with Facebook.

You can add your own links to your Facebook profile and when someone clicks on them and buys what ever you are selling, then you will make sales.

alot of people approach facebook and other social networks ass backwards. And seem to think that SPAM is a form of marketing. And that just plastering your link everywhere to everyone will some how build a sustainable business....

Facebook is a social platform and a place to socialize and build a relationship with your customer base and offer more value. In that essence you will gain exposure through a viral nature. I like to think of facebook as a targeted audience that can be leveraged to syndicate content, and give value. The content is essentially the marketing piece and what will gain exposure and generate you leads and revenue as its passed around and can from their lead into a lead capture page, link to an offer, or have the content posted on a blog with an opt in box visible.

As for Direct Response marketing, the most profitable scalable form of marketing, the Facebook PPC platform is a great traffic source. I have been generating 40-50 leads per day from Facebook PPC alone for $2-$3 per lead. Its really like the wild west in there right now, like google adwords used to be. The only issue is getting ads approved.

However ad approval has many methods as well. For instance I have implemented what I like to call the "Master Switch" method. Where you use a hyper Tracker account and a hyper tracker link from a tracking campaign to build out your Facebook ads, and use a Decoy landing page initially UNTIL the ad is Approved. . Then simply switching out your landing Page URL in your Hyper Tracker account and THEN running your ad after the approval process. ( Editing an ad and changing URL requires another approval, this avoids that)

Facebook is an advertisers dream, you can target individuals so specifically its sickening. However its a much different game then Search Engine PPC as people are not actively searching at the time of viewing your ad. So you need to remember that they are in a different mind set and facebook advertising is realistically a form of interruption marketing. So knowing that, we must be so specific and congruent and eye catching in our ads that it is speaking directly to your prospect. Where you are demonstrating a solution to a problem that they have right in your ad.

If you can do that.... Facebook is a cash cow. Enjoy

Don't view it as a source of direct marketing, but as a way to show authority/presence and connect with your potential customers. Twitter is similar to that in that aspect

I read somewhere that you get indexed higher on google if your site has much traffic. Well not only can you make profit from facebook the traffic it generates gives your site a strong web presence. Google spiders rank sites with traffic as highly important to visitors.

How much does traffic rank as compared to backlinks in SEO?

    1) Traffic volume does not affect your SEO.
    2) Social Media is a wonderful tool for building client loyalty, improve visibility and really get the word out there about your company, BUT it is NOT a direct revenue/sales channel. I think most people forget about it. Social Media is just like any other SOCIAL initiative - if done right it will bring you lots of leads and great exposure.

    Good luck!

Facebook Ads is intriguing. Most of my income right now comes from blogging and ad revenue, but I may have to give Facebook Ads another shot.

Sounds like there's still plenty of opportunity there.
