    Lightbulb Making money on website

    Making money on website

Ok, I finally just published my first website. It is not complete, but its there. Its registered and hosted by godaddy. What are the different ways to make some money now that its up. Any ideas? I know dealing with godaddy is really cheap and basic, but its a start.

As a start, it's good. But try to develop a dedicated online domain for your business as you would get rid of following "godaddy" rules. Go ahead and good luck!!!!

Depends on what the site is,i have a Beauty site that sells solely Amazon products but you could sell clickbank products as well.

There are several ways to montize your site. I personally like adsense the best as it brings in a profitable monthly passive income. You can set and forget about it.

Clickbank is also a great way to promote affiliate products.
You could try selling a product or service related to your site.
Amazon affiliates is also good if you are any good at writing product reviews.

You can blog on your site and depending on the popularity in a few months you can start selling advertising space on your site.

If all else fails, add some content do some SEO work and then flip it on Flippa.

This should give you some ideas to get you started - hope this helps

There are many way to earn money through websites like Google AdSense, Click bank products etc. But main things are to generate the traffic on your website, SEO that we sometimes forget the actual point of our web creation. Look at this way…
When you do a Google search you get 10 results on the page. The second result listed on this page can be expected to get 20% of clicks, which sounds pretty high doesn’t it?
well you would think so. BUT listen to this. The first result can be expected to get 40% of clicks. This is a massive difference the first search result gets double the amount of organic traffic than the second. So what’s the difference between the two web sites? Has the first ranking result been optimized twice as well as the second ranking site?

    Hey shan,

Like the others have said there are quite a few ways to monetize a website. AdSense, Clickbank, and Amazon are all really great options.

Another avenue you might want take is creating your own product and selling that. Digital downloadable products (eBooks, audio guides etc.) are the easiest and cheapest products to produce but you could also go for a physical product if you're willing to invest the time and money.

That's really all the advice I can offer without knowing what your website is about and who your target market is.
